BUTIKEN 2024

In June 2024, Butiken facilitated a residency for new work for young audiences. Choreographers and dancers Linn Ragnarsson and Viktoria Andersson worked together with dramaturg Moa Backman and producers Terry Johnson and Sara Bergsmark to develop their artistic ideas for a young audience. We share material and experiences, and will at some point meet with the age group the work is created for. We encourage applications from artists with limited experience but curiosity around working with young audiences. Your work can be in an early state of development, and we see this as a period of research rather than a production residency.  

In August 2024, Butiken hosted artist Mona Namér for a one-week residency in Hörken. Mona developed new artistic work together with Ama Kyei, as well as worked on long term strategies and structures together with Sara Bergsmark and Terry Johnson. The residency was a collaboration with Dansverksamheten in Region Örebro län.
